The same router that was acting up at Sprint earlier today and last night
is unwell again. They are aware that they have a bad card but can't get a
replacement of that type until tomorrow morning. They are presently exploring
the possibility of alternate methods of connecting that router to the backbone.
It is apparently load related, the card will function when the load isn't too
high which accounts for the intermittant nature of the problem.
I've got the circuit down right now because losing 33% of the packets
causes things to break entirely. The remaining two T1's are pretty close to
being at capacity and so things will be slow until this is resolved.
I will check it periodically and if packet loss is acceptable turn it back
up. Sprint will also call me if they either get a replacement card or find an
alternate way of connecting that router to the backbone.
