MegaPOP NJ/NY
Service to MegaPOP in New York and New Jersey has been restored; the
co-location facility is now running on generator power.
Due to the proximity to the World Trade Center, it is not known if it will
remain operational. Earlier the building was reported to be structurally
unstable, but they are now saying it is OK, but it is still not allowed to be
occupied. They were apparently allowed to fire up the generators and leave.
This affects only the MegaPOP New York and New Jersey lines, the other
carriers, StarPOP, Qwest, Telia, Grid.net, and UUNET, are not affected.
