There was a period of high network I/O latency intermittantly between about 3pm and 9:30pm the evening of August 30, 2002. This was caused by hardware problems at Sprint intermittantly bringing one of our Sprint T1's down. I haven't gotten any official word from Sprint regarding it having been fully repaired but we have not seen any more bouncing of the circuit since 9:21 PM on 8/30/2002.
