Eskimo shell reboot
After a brief NFS de-synch between the shell server and the file server,
processes were hanging on Eskimo, increasingly raising the server load. I
did try to resynch them without bringing the server down for a fresh
reboot, but that just locked up and failed. The shell server was down for
only a few minutes for the process-locking and the reboot. This did not
affect other servers such as the web or mail.
