Commerce back in service

Commerce, the SSL web server is back in service now, with a replacement box
snatched from another server.  The other server (the one that runs IRC
username and channel registrations) is running on the crippled machine that
did boot properly when a disk scan wasn't required.  A replacement machine
for further spare parts is on its way as well.
