NFS
We had an NFS problem between the web server and the main file server
starting around midnight.
The nature of this problem is one of gradual deterioration up to a point
and then non-functionality. I got a notification from Internet Seer, a web
monitoring service we use to alert us to a failed website around 1am and it
took nearly an hour to reboot because of all the httpd processes hung on disk
I/O that didn't want to die.
But it's all back up and running again now.
