Outage - Crash


     Our main file server crashed today shortly after noon.  There was a fair
amount of data that had not yet been flushed from cache and it required three
passes of fsck to correct.

     This failure may have been heat related; A/C was not working properly at
the co-location facility.  They are aware of the A/C issues and working on
correcting the problem.
