First, some link pagesYet another personal Web Page hotlist
My cobweb page. I'm very slow to update things here, but it does happen once in a while. Perhaps I could qualify for a best of the Cobwebs award. The only problem is that if they had such an award, who would get around to issuing it? Feel free to drop me a line about anything you see here, or if you just want to chat.InterestsMy number one pastime is hiking. Getting out into the great outdoors. I like backpacking, snowshoeing, alpine scrambling, and some climbing. I enjoy general easy dayhikes with friends as well as getting out on the glaciers and having a strenuous trip. On trail or off. The air is clean, the little animals flitter to and fro, the scenery ranges from majestic to beautiful, and supposedly I'm even healthier for it all.
A growing interest I'm developing is recorder playing. The shepards pipe. I've only been a musician for a few years but I practice with a passion and have developed a little skill. I chose the recorder as it is a great instrument to go with the above hobby of hiking and backpacking. It speaksWho am I? A smathering of quick impressions of how I see myself. A metaphorical account of the worst three years of my life. These events did not actually happen. They are just a reflection of feelings. Spiritual MusingsWhen asked what religion I am or what denomenation, I like to tell people that I am a Christian Muslim Gnostic Hindu Taoist. My feelings are that a universal spirit (God if you must call it that) would not create a religion that 90% of the people alive or who have ever lived either have not heard of or have never heard it explained. If God only loves (saves, helps, appreciates, etc.) those who believe one religion then that excludes 90% of all humans. My personal belief is that all religions have some of the truth and all religions are in error to some extent. Those philosophies that all religions share are universal truths. Those philosophies that are held only by one religion or one denomination are almost certainly in error (or are true only in limited context.)

Day and Night DreamsI've read that daydreams are a great way to practice situations and to explore ideas in a safe manner. Some even claim that daydreams are better than the ones at night because you can control everything that happens and the endings are always happy. But my fantasies tend to have a life of their own. Just as sleeping dreams, my waking dreams go their own direction and seem to create stories for themselves, often not to my wishes or with a good ending. Though, at least with a fantasy I do have the option to go back and edit after it has run its course. Some memorable dreamsIf you want to e-mail, send comments to:
