Summer 90 A man is captive in a house. He looks unkempt, distraught. He has apparantly been there quite a while. When his captor leaves, he manages to break through the door. He runs through the house and out the backdoor. It is mid day. There are children outside playing. A neighbor is getting into his car. The man runs to the neighbor. He says that he has been held captive. He pleads to be taken to the police and away from his captor to safety. The neighbor says to get into the car and starts to drive off. Some of the kids on bikes ride up. They try to stop the car and tell the neighbor that the captor really was a relative of this distraught man and that the man who claimed to be a captive was really just a relative he was taking care of that was crazy. The distraught man said to continue and that he was really a captive and that his captor made up that story as a cover for keeping him captive in the house in case anyone found out. They continue on. The captor runs out and tries to stop the car. They drive past him. As they drive along, the road they are on is under construction and blocked off. The have to stop and turn around. At this point the captor has caught up with them in his car. He stops them and pleads with his neighbor that this really is just a relative with an emotional problem and that he has to take care of him and that he has had to go through this before and its getting to be a big hassle and please just return his relative to him. The captive is getting really nervous and distraught that he might be returned into the hands of this man and looks somewhat wild and possibly crazy. The neighbor is starting to feel uncertain as to whether the man really is a captive or just a nut.
