Thread sketches are works of embellished hand-dyed cotton fabrics. The torn series adds a layer over a thread sketch background. Ann uses her intuition and a sewing machine to create free-running undulating line sketches, adding a touch of the unexpected. Cotton, synthetic, and metallic threads and yarns are used to create abstract and non-representational works.
