Janice
Wurn

A longtime resident of Washington State, Janice Wurn has been painting in watercolor, oil and pastel for several years. Preferring to paint on location, she frequently takes advantage of the scenic beauty that surrounds us here in the northwest.

Janice has studied with several fine artists. Among these have, been William Reese, Ron Lukas, Frank Webb, Deanne Lemley, Jerry Stitt and others.

She currently is a Signature Member of the Northwest Watercolor Society and has been on the Board of Directors of Eastside Association of Fine Arts and the Puget Sound Art League.
The soft flowing nature of watercolor, plus the use of vibrant color, help Janice to convey the excitement she feels for her subjects. At this time, watercolor remains her favorite medium. Janice's work can be seen regularly in juried shows throughout the area. She is a member of the Art Stall Gallery in the Pike Place Market and her paintings are included in many private and corporate collections throughout the country.
