The Reception
The reception was held in the Billiard Room at The Governor Hotel. The luncheon menu was rosemary grilled chicken with sweet basil tomato relish, garlic mashed potatoes, and a vegetable medly of asparagus, baby carrots and roasted red peppers. For dessert, there was a choice of wedding cake: white chocolate cake with raspberry filling or apple spice cake with caramel filling, all of which was frosted with white chocolate frosting. The cake was so popular that most people had two pieces, and there's rumors of people having three or four slices!!

The newlyweds had just arrived at the reception after a brief break. Note Aviva is clutching their placecard!

Weren't the tables pretty?

The mother of the bride

Scott kneels down to talk to Aviva's Aunt Dora. Also at the table are the Weiner family: Sharon, Becca, Jake and Harris (standing). To the right, Aviva chats with her cousins, Andy & Clare.

The Foster family ... well mostly! From the left, Judge Thomas Moultrie, our officiant; Scott's parents, Marlys & Mel Foster; his older sister, Denise & Bob Anthis; his younger sister (partly obscured) Susan & Fred Frahm; Scott's brother (from the back) Jeff & Barb Foster.

Three-month-old Laurel Elliott was the hit of the wedding. Everyone wanted to hold her, and she was prettier than the bride in her little white dress and lace tights! Her father, John Elliott, helps her "stand" on a table.
