Ahhh Yes! the 4250 is a low noise PNP, which is also a 2N4250 or MPS4250 which you can evidently get at
I thinkn that was the current source in the mic pre. I gotta get those schematics up on this site! Coming up soon, I promise!
The GES97 was an NPN,around 40 Volts Vceo I think, but we used them in theses companies cause they were "OK" and cheap! The pinout as I remember was BCE not EBC like a 2N2222 etc...
