Dan,
The DRS 400 (stands for Dynamic Range Series)and DRS 900 were the last amplifier designs from Phase Linear, built between 1982 and 1983. The tuner and P3600 preamp are very rare components.
I need to look at the rear shot of the components to get a better idea how they are hooked up. Phase Linear amps usually never had an on/off switch because they were usually plugged in to the Switched AC socket of the pre-amp.
