Channel switches under the VU's set to "in"? Drive levels up? Output levels and Reverb levels up somewhat? The out from the mixer plugged into the in of the unit, and the out of the unit plugged to in on the mixer? Are you familiar with the routing of your mixer, as far as patching a unit in/out of it? If nothing else, just plug a guitar into it, and plug the unit into an amp that is off. Set everything about halfway. Turn the unit on. With the amp volume turned down, turn the amp on. Turn up the amp while strumming guitar. See if there is a good amount of verb coming through then. If there is, you'll probably wanna turn the percentage down a bit, and mess with iput and output levels, and the EQ, to see if everything functions. If it does, your setup to the mixer is wrong. If you can't get anything out of it at this point, it's probably broke.
Good luck,
