And a 3-day cruise to Malaysia

Two favorite pastimes in Singapore are shopping and eating
And when you can shop for something to eat... how good is that??


Here is one of Singapore's big markets This one is near where Val lives
(But there's a whole bunch of them all over Singapore)

Sightseeing is also pretty big there
And Val took me to see lots of sights
This is the entrance to the Singapore Botanical Gardens

We saw these bushes there
I still can't figure out how they got them to grow like this

The sign said this was called
"Swan Lake"
But all we saw were these two lousy swans


This is the Merlion
It's the Singapore National Symbol
It's on Sentosa Island, and the view is magnificent
(But stay off the monorail...It's really rickety)


Val and I took a cruise to Malaysia
on the Star Cruise Line
We were on the South China Sea
That's the East Coast of West Malaysia in the background

On the trip back I saw LD3 shipping containers being loaded onto a 747
This is for my friends at Danzas
(By the way...this was taken at Narita Airport in Tokyo)
