A Little Page About Your Host
| I was born Robert W. York in Wyoming, Michigan on the 26th of May in 1955. At five we moved to Jenison, Michigan and my parents still currently reside there. Jenison is about 20 east of Lake Michigan. I graduated from Grandville Highschool in 1973. |

| In August 1975 I enlisted in the Airforce to see the world and ended up in Tacoma, Washington at McChord Airforce Base for 4 years. While in the Airforce I became a Heating Systems Specialist. I installed furnaces, boilers, fuel tanks and maintained same. I spent two years doing that and then moved to the Central Heating Plant for another two years. After my 4 years were up I enlisted in Civil Service and have spent 20 more years in the Central Heating Plant working with high-pressure steam boilers to supply steam heating to the base through 24 miles of distribution lines. Here I am (1996) at work sitting at the console of our Bailey Network (90) control console and me showing my family around at work. | |||||||||||||||||

| This is my wife Vicki. She works
for the City of Puyallup. Here's a photo of us on our way back from Whidbey Island to Port Townsend. How we met: "We arranged to meet after she answered my Personals Ad I submitted at Classifieds 2000.com." Here's a new photo of us at the "3 Crabs" restaurant located in Sequim, Wa. She is a very wonderful woman. Here's another photo. |
