Reference CDR's are much like Acetates and are used for reference purposes before general production.
It is the last chance that the Artist and the Engineers get to listen for any final changes they may wish to make before the actual release.

Paul McCartney & Wings: MEGA RARE UK **ABBEY ROAD STUDIOS** 2 EMI CD-R **ACETATES** FOR **WINGSPAN HITS AND HISTORY**

This is an official Abbey Road Reference TWO CD-R ACETATE set for Paul McCartney's
'Wingspan Hits & History' release. Prepared at the Abbey Road Studios on 28 March 2001, in Room 13.

  1. Reference Disc One features 'Wingspan UK Version' and includes 18 tracks (with a duration time of approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes) including 'Juniors Farm' (DJ Edit), and 'With a Little Luck' DJ Edit.
  2. Reference Disc 2 features Wingspan UK, USA & Japanese Version, including 22 tracks (with a duration time of approximately 1 hour and 16 minutes.

Each of the CD-R Acetates have the official Custom 'Abbey Road' White labels , and each has the CDR reference printed in the centre of each reference disc. The CDR Acetates each come in a Jewel case with Printed Insert featuring the Custom Abbey Road logo, track listing for each of the CDRs and Name and Studio Number.

Very few of these Significant Abbey Road CDR Acetates become available
- the Ultimate 'Wingspan' collectable - RARE!

Abbey Road referencing CD-Rs are extremely difficult to obtain as only very few are circulated, with not many getting out of the Studio!

Limited Edition USA Commercial Release Set
This very limited collector's edition 2-CD package will be housed in a stamped, cloth-bound book and will include a stitched-in 24-page five color annotated booklet and a three dimensional lenticular image slipcase.

The 2 CD Set is housed in a Unique 3D HOLOGRAM Slip case - please see relevant scan provided and please note that the regular release does not come in this collectable Hologram slip case format).
