| April 27th 2005 was a great day for me and my wife Vicki. As host
of the first or one of the first Al Di Meola sites on the net I have not, up
until now, had the pleasure to meet Al in person. Al was gracious that night to
hang out after the concert to visit with fans and sign autographs. Gumbi Ortiz
was also on hand and I was able to chat with him about a few things. These are
some nice people. Years ago he use to send me photos to post on my site from
