Xmas walk at Green Lake

I took a couple pictures, but not many, as it was dark and snowing and majority of the crowd doesn't realise you're attempting a long exposure.

Boats that were moving way to fast.

Blurred walkers...

Then I got tired of being unable to take pictures of the trail without blurred walking people. So I got creative, set the f-stop to 22 on my fixed 50mm lens. Then, did a 90 second exposure. Wasn't to bad after all that. Can you tell there was hundreds of people in this picture?

Though it turned out so dark that the texture in the ground wasn't made out. Oh well, I tried.

Richmond Beach construction photos.

So, I'm kind of annoyed that I can't go for walks on Richmond beach this winter. It is closed due to season long construction. I decided to do my usuall thing and sneak on to well parts of the beach anyway and take photos of the construction going on.

The parking lot street (20th Ave NW) Leading out of the park to the gate.

The new leveled out terrace on the south side near the caretaker's residence. They are expanding the orginal upper parking lot to almost doulbe it's orginal size, and making a smaller picnic area.

Wide shot of the lower parking lot (lower left), and upper leveled areas for new parking lot.

And the Olympic Mountains from the Richmond Beach bluff.

Theres other pictures from that day that can be found here: http://www.eskimo.com/~carl/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=67
