Instructions for mIRC, Halloween sounds menu

The menu can be used to play any of the sounds on the Halloween page of
the web site.  You'll have to download the sound files and unzip them into
your mIRC directory, or if you've configured mIRC to play sounds from a
special directory then unzip them there.  You don't have to download
all of the sounds; you'll just get an error message if you try to play
a sound file you haven't downloaded.

You can play any of the sounds from IRC without using the menu
by typing, for example, 
/sound scream.wav
The menu makes it easier, as you can play the sounds with a mouse click
and you won't have to rember the names of the .wav files.

These instructions are for mIRC 5.7.  Earlier versions will be similar.
1) In mIRC, click Tools/Popups
2) Click View/Channel

(Note, if an older version of the Halloween menu is shown in the window,
you'll need to erase it now.)

3) Copy/paste the list below the ----  into the bottom of the window.
4) click OK and you're done.

To play sounds:
when you're in the chat room you can right-click (right-button of mouse)
in the window to bring up a popup menu:

Click Halloween and it will list the sounds, then click the sound 
you want to play.
