Windward Communications specializes in the installation and maintenance of amateur and marine SSB and HF email systems aboard vessels; we don't sell new hardware*, but can provide the guidance you will need in that area..  We can help you install your radio and data controller, fabricate the interface cables, select and configure software, and train you to use the system.  We also install and troubleshoot antenna couplers and program your radio with the best frequencies for your intended cruising area.

Stray radio frequency energy from your transmitter can wreak havoc with all onboard electronics, including your otherwise properly wired HF email system.  We  can troubleshoot baffling RFI problems and install effective interference-limiting components such as line isolators and ferrite RF chokes.

SPECIAL:  Edgeport/4 USB-serial adapter (FOUR RS-232 serial ports, not just one) - $125 (street price $255-300).  Run your email modem, radio control, GPS, or any other serial device, all at the same time from a single USB port on your laptop.  These Edgeport adapters are buffered to eliminate WEFAX stair-stepping caused by WinXP's CPU management--Edgeports are specifically recommended by the Winlink/SailMail people.
