NTI RACING WON BIG TIME LAST SEASON!!
Now's YOUR chance to further the cause by helping
|
| All parts have been removed from our 1995 Z28 Camaro prior to converting said Camaro to a road race car. Most will work on any 1993 thru 2001 Z28 Camaro (and/or some will work on the Firebird). Some parts were used and removed in order to upgrade the race car, engine, etc. or to replace with parts legal within the racing class per race organization rules. All parts are in good working order but may have experienced normal wear and tear... similar to like kind parts you would find in the average salvage yard. | NOTE: Prices do NOT include shipping. SHIPPING IS EXTRA AND APX AMOUNT LISTED BELOW BY ITEM. Buyer must supply correct name, shipping address and pay for shipping, which will be quoted in advance upon your request. All items will be shipped C.O.D. or PRE-PAID via PayPal only. Cashier checks or money orders will work for C.O.D. shipping. |

Let the bidding begin...
NTI Racing has finally managed to design a high volume fuel cell, custom built by Fuel Safe, which will fit within the same location as the normal 1993+ Camaro/Firebird stock fuel tank. The design does require one to cut a slot between the rear strap ribs of the storage well area (see photos), which is a fairly easy procedure to do with a simple dremil cutoff wheel. The fuel cell is designed to be used in endurance racing where an increased capacity (25 gallons) is desirable, to allow longer range between pit stops. The design of this cell should be safer than simply cutting and pasting in a standard rectangular cell, possibly resulting in exhaust pipe interference issues, rear end collision issues, etc. This cell is designed to retain most of the stock set up as a result.
The high volume cell, as shown, comes with two -6 AN pickup and return line fittings, a large vent line neck (vent tubing not included), standard gas fill cap with an inversion protection flap (to prevent leaks in a turn over situation), a sending unit for fuel level monitoring, improved pickup area to reduce fuel starvation issues and may be upgraded to a dry break system if needed. It also comes with a high volume, in tank, WALBRO fuel pump to support cars running 500+ HP engines.
NTI Racing has the "intellectual knowledge rights" on this fuel cell design. Fuel Safe will be working with us, as a dealer, to produce these cells. Retail price, including all the options mentioned, is $2200 (as seen in the photos below). Shipping costs vary by buyer's location and will be extra. A parts list and diagrams, along with installation instructions, will guide you through the needed fuel line parts, bulkhead parts and installation procedures required to adapt this cell to a stock fuel system.
NOTE: This cell is available for sale and has been installed in our race car and has helped us on our way to a winning race season once again for 2005. We have also mocked up an SCCA legal bulkhead between the passenger compartment and the fuel cell (so can assists with that process as well). Contact us for more information.
