This page contains pictures of the home that my wife and I purchased almost one year ago. It changes greatly from season to season and keeps us fairly busy with yard work, but we have greatly enjoyed it so far. This page has a lot of pictures, so please be patient. We hope it is worthwhile.

Summer 1999

This is a panoramic view of our back yard. The tall trees shade the entire back yard, making it particularly nice in the summer. We also have a playhouse and a tree fort for our younger visitors.

This is our aviary / storage area. We currently have six doves, with more eggs appearing on a regular basis. The eggs, along with our tremendous bounty of fallen pine needles, are available to anyone who is interested.

This is our butterfly tree, which blooms in the late summer.

Finally, a view of the front of the house.

Spring 2000

Here are a few of the tulips that we enjoyed.

An example of the Washington state flower.

This is a view of our backyard, showing our largest pond and our perpetually dry (except during the rainy season) birdbath. One of our favorite spots is the gazebo, which appears in the background.

The next two views show the clematis at the front of our house in full bloom.

This is a view of the side yard, showing just a few of the daisies that appeared.

This is another view of the front yard, taken a month or so after the pictures shown above.
