At Christmas time last year, my wife and I traveled to Spokane to spend the
holidays with the Rickmans (my sister, her husband, and family). Mom was also
able to join us, as well as my Aunt Edie (alias Speedy Edie from Diamond Bar).
It was a special treat, since we had not seen Aunt Edie for many years. We all
had a great time, though getting there and back proved to be a bit of an
adventure.
