« Acoustics Primer « Sample Sounds « Dyes Inlet orcas

This group of eight MP3 sound clips was recorded in November 1997 by Cetacean Research Technology owner, Joe Olson, using a Cetacean Research™ C20a2 hydrophone.

In an unusual incident, still discussed today, the L25 subpod of the Southern Resident Killer Whales (Orcinus orca) spent a considerable amount of time in Dye's Inlet, Washington.
