A.f.k.a. Persimmon's
Radical Faerie Archive
Version: 2009-02-26
Warning:
If you are uncomfortable reading about gay men, LEAVE NOW!!

Disclaimers:
There is no consensus view of the faeries, and if you try to pin us
down, we will generate a counterexample automatically.
All the stuff on
these
pages reflects the point of view of its author, and only that.
I have gradually ebbed away, and now consider myself
to be more "formerly" rather than "actively" a faerie. See
why. I may formally abdicate on Saturn's return from my joining up, since faerie doesn't seem to mean what it used to.
Modified 2005
November after the server crashed at
Online Policy Group.
Recovery by way of the Internet Wayback Machine.
Most of this weblet dates from 1994, and is primarily an archive now.

In particular, at the time these were written, the faeries
were all
gay
or bi men.
There are now women who have taken the name faeries, which is a change
since my
involvement, and I will not cover this
new direction
in this site, which primarily covers the early days of
gay men's gatherings, up to the about
1996 when I dropped the name Persimmon, and
1997 when I had a falling out
with Nomenus,
a
gay male faerie church organized to buy and
steward land for sacred and sexual space for gay male gatherings, which
has now
departed from its
founding
intention.
