band-tailed pigeon
band-tailed pigeons are the native species of pigeon to this area,
unlike the urban pigeons most people are familiar with, which are
actually european rock doves. these pigeons arrive in flocks and can
clean out a feeder in no time.
chestnut-backed chickadee
in spite of being the most frequent visitors, chickadees are hard
to get a good photo of because they never hold still for long.
black-capped chickadee
got a pretty good picture of this guy while learning to use aperture priority
mode.
northern flicker
i was fortunate to have a flicker show up and got some good pictures and
also a movie, just as it flew off.
dark-eyed juncos
These birds commonly feed on the ground but also make use of the
platform feeder.
Steller's jay

they love peanuts.
pine siskin
initially i was unsure about this bird but some folks confirmed for me
that it is a pine siskin.
european starling
I've seen flocks of these in the neighborhood but they're rare visitors
to the feeder. This guy showed up on a cold morning (11/27).
varied thrush
A varied thrush first showed up about a month ago but I was unable to get a
picture. Today (12/17) it stopped by again and I this time I was able
to photograph it before it flew away.
spotted towhee
Spotted towhee showed up in early march.
bushtit
Bushtit at suet feeder in early march. They sometimes show up in flocks and
cover the entire feader, but I have yet to get a picture of that.

at Marymoor park.
I've observed the following birds but not yet managed to photograph them.
