Come join Jonathan David Gerson, M.A., for a unique day sailing on beautiful Lake Washington while learning about Mr. Gerson’s groundbreaking therapy which combines the use of Dream Journaling, Reminiscence and Life Review for seniors. DreamRem Therapy is a gentle introspective journey through a person’s dreams and life experiences. This narrative technique has been especially effective for people suffering with early stages of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Since the workshop last year Mr. Gerson now runs several DreamRem Therapy groups in local
nursing homes and assisted living facilities. You need not have attended last year’s workshop to benefit from DreamRem II. Basic DreamRem Therapy techniques will be discussed as well as new discoveries since last year. As a bonus, because Jung loved to sail, Mr. Gerson will be discussing water and the unconscious, as well as the therapeutic aspects of being on the water. Join us for a fun and informative day at sea!

Lunch, snack and beverage will be provided. The boat will depart from the historical Leschi Dock at 9 a.m. and will return to Leschi at 5 p.m. Participants will receive a free DreamRem Therapy Kit™ consisting of a Dream Journal and a light pen.

This program has been approved for 6 CEU’s by the Washington Chapter, National Association of Social Workers (NASW) for Licensed Social Workers, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapists and Licensed Mental Health Counselors. Provider number is #1975-157. The cost to receive a certificate is as follows: 6 units for the Saturday workshop $10.
