Interested in learning more about C.G. Jung and his fundamental theories? The C.G. Jung Society of Seattle will again offer an introductory-level course based on Murray Stein’s Jung’s Map of the Soul: An Introduction.

Topics include Jung’s theory of ego consciousness, complex theory, anima and animus, the shadow, the Self, and synchronicity. This course is a membership benefit and free of charge to active members.

Each week, a facilitator will lead the discussion and provide the group with thought-provoking questions and comments to stimulate discussion. Come prepared with your reactions, perceptions, and questions. Whether you are brand new to Jung or a seasoned Jungian professional, your participation is encouraged. The benefit is a richer understanding of Jungian concepts and a greater appreciation of the 2014 lineup of speakers.

Order your copy of Jung’s Map of the Soul: An Introduction (using this Amazon link supports our society). The only requirement is that you read the first chapter before the series begins. The first session will begin on Thursday, January 30th, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the library (room 222) and go through March 27th, 2014.
