Airfares are such a highly specialised sector of the travel industry - it takes full-time attention to the airlines to provide the best deals and itineraries. As a small company, we do best at focusing on what we DO excel at - the best adventure sailing vacations around ! :)

 

However, we are more than happy to help you figure out how best to get to us; if you have a number of alternatives on airfares, just send us the info and we can help with the harder-to-figure-out local connections.

For great deals online, try these excellent websites:

• Farechase - searches a database of 150 other airfare "deal" website and agencies. Highly recommended.
• Orbitz Well-known site, many options on specific airlines and schedules
• Priceline The Name-Your-Own-Fare website! Literally that; you make a bid on airfare; it is submitted to major airlines and if any accept the price, it's a deal!
• Travelzoo Late booking specials, airfare deals
• DiscountAirfares.com Has the unusual feature of being able to send a particular request to up to 5 "live" agencies specialising in discount fares. We've found some good ones here sometimes!
• Bestfares - a discount travel club which requires an annual membership fee. We hear of some great fares which make the fee worthwhile, however.

 

Charter flights: From the UK and other parts of Europe, charter flights are often an excellent deal; also means that you can often fly directly (no need to transit through eg, Athens or Istanbul). Try these websites -

• Just The Flight - based in Guernsey, has a very efficient database of both charter and schedules flights.
• My Travel UK - Flights from many regional airports in the UK, direct to many popular holiday centres in Europe.

 

Bargain fares from the UK to Athens
The "cheap n' cheerful" airline, Easyjet - no frills, often very good prices if you BOOK EARLY - prices can vary daily, and go up significantly the closer one gets to departure date.
