Charles Coldwell, recorders, has appeared as a
soloist with the
Seattle
Baroque Orchestra, the Northwest Chamber Orchestra, and Philharmonia
Northwest in the Seattle area, and he performed in the Fourth Annual
American Recorder Society Great Recorder Relay at the 1996 Berkeley
Festival of early music.
Charles teaches at the Port Townsend
Early Music Workshop. He was an instructor in recorder and historical
performance practices at the New England Conservatory and the
Longy School of Music.
He is presently User and Systems Support Manager in Automated Services
at the Seattle Public Library, where he previously served as
Coordinator of the Fine and Performing Arts Department.
In his spare time, he enjoys camping in the Gifford Pinchot National
Forest.
