Stephen Creswell, is a Seattle-based violinist and violist of eclectic breadth. He has performed with Chinese and Japanese musicians at the World of Music and Dance Festival (WOMAD) in Redmond, served as concertmaster for Seattle Pro Musica's production of Mozart's Requiem, and plays chamber music regularly with a select company of local artists. He has also appeared as viola soloist with Seattle Baroque Orchestra. Before moving to the Seattle area, Mr. Creswell recorded and toured with Tafelmusik in North America, Europe, and Japan. He has worked with many of the world's great early music performers, including Gustav Leonhardt, Monica Huggett, Max von Egmond, Anner Bylsma, and the late August Wenzinger.
