Bay Tree

This leaves of this bay tree contrast with the finer textures of winter savory, dwarf marjoram, rosemary, and asparagus.

We planted this tree in the ground, where it struggled through the coldst parts of winter. Last spring, we transferred it to this container, and it has doubled in size since then. Now we can vary its location in the herb garden, and move it into the shade on the hottest days and into the garage on the coldest nights.
