Jake Fox is our auctioneer.

This year he auctioned off 90 high-quality plants at bargain prices. The opportunity to build your stock of rhododendron species, hybrids, and companion plants is just one benefit of belonging to the Tacoma Chapter of the American Rhododendron Society.

Jim Senko organized the auction. He catalogued all the plants and managed distribution of plants to successful bidders. Myrna Brackman recorded the bidders, plants and prices during the auction. Other volunteers included Bill Brackman, Billie Staab, and Bob Nelson. Contributors of 19 or more plants: Shigeki & Mutsuko Higashi, Don & Jean Clark, and Stu Imrie.

The proceeds of this year's auction totalled $1413, up from $1010 in 2003. Thanks to all the volunteers, contributors, and bidders.
