Each June, the Tacoma Chapter holds its annual potluck in the Point Defiance Rhododendron Garden. The 2005 dinner was our 50th. Members and visitors get a chance to tour the garden and see another year's progress by the volunteers. A surprising number of old giants from the 50s are still in bloom in June. They contrast to more than 150 small azaleas in the ground only a few months.

Stewart thinks Jake's Polar Bear looks good enough to eat. Raccoon would rather have Stewart's dinner.
