Spring Truss Show

Each spring, the Tacoma Chapter of the American Rhododendron Society sponsors a truss show to give members a chance to display their flowers and to share their love of rhododendrons with the public at large. More than 500 trusses were exhibited at the 2004. An estimated 10,000 people visited the our display.

Steve Hootman, curator of the Rhododendron Species Foundation, served as one of the independent judges of the event.
