This three bases of this double bench are trunk sections with seat/back cutouts. Cedar fence boards line the cutouts and form a back ledge. The rounds set on squares of treated 2x12s.

The entire bench is sunk in deep mulch to fit in with the nearby stump and massive sequoia behind it.
