ACTION ALERT
CHRISTIAN SCIENCE MONITOR, 30 NOVEMBER 1994  P10 

Dan Connell did a series of articles on pp10-11 on Eritrea, Africa's newest
nation, split off from Somalia.  A sub-article entitled "One major change:
women's right to land" contains the following sentence/paragraph:

"The new government has sought to ban child marriages, dowry payments, and
the widely practiced form of genital mutilation known euphemistically as
"female circumcision."

The C.S. Monitor has never addressed the issue of male genital mutilation.
 Let's encourage them to do so:
