About HVI

HVI is a non-profit organization devoted to promoting health and healing in our religious and medical communities and to renewing the healing ministry of the Church ecumenically worldwide. Dr. Kenneth Bakken, founder and president, envisions:

	Integration of faith and science, spirituality, and medicine
	Development of wellness promotion programs and new models of spiritual care
	Integration of spiritual care within a whole person model of community health

HealthVision hopes to achieve these goals by:

	Strengthening spiritual caregiving in hospital and health care settings
	Addressing a new paradigm of health, healing, and wholeness
	Promoting ministerial and leadership wellness

Current HVI programs include:

	Speaking, keynoting, lecturing for conferences, workshops, seminars, and retreats
	Coaching corporate leaders for personal and organizational renewal
	Motivating and training ministers of healing—including chaplains and parish nurses—within congregational and healthcare settings
	Medical consultation for the inter-disciplinary treatment and rehabilitation of persons diagnosed with Fibromyalgia Syndrome
