Smooth the trigger bearing surfaces as shown:

Smoothing is best done with the very fine sandpaper (>1000 grit) on a hard flat surface. I did wet the sandpaper. The main surface you should worry about is the one that contacts the trigger bar.

Remember the objective is to smooth the surface as much as possible -- not to remove metal. Be careful smoothing the surfaces close to the bottom or you'll see the shiny metal when you put your pistol back together.
