Sunflower Mosaic
| #P112..........$7.95
31" X 45" When I design my quilts, I first take several photographs of the subject. Sometimes when I'm out in the neighborhood, I'll see a flower and know it's perfect. Other times, I try to grow what I need. Well, it took me five years to grow this sunflower. My boys came home from school each Spring for four years with a sunflower seedling. And every year, I proceeded to kill those poor sunflowers. Some managed to make it to three feet before I finally destroyed them. Try as I might, I just couldn't grow a sunflower. Last year I decided, if I plant enough, one should survive! And this one did, both as a flower and as a quilt! Capture the warm sunshine of a bright summer day with this quilt. |
