Our institute was founded by conductors who received their degree from the
world famous Pető Institute in Budapest and also have a number of years of
practice behind them. They feel that the environment of a small institute
can give the children a better chance of development and also they can
establish very close contact with the conductors as well as the other
children which will help them later on with integration into society and
interaction with others.
>>The aim of conductive education is the complex development of the
personality of the motor disabled. Conductive education is the most
successful way of rehabilitation, where education and physical development
are integral part of each other. The world famous Andras Pető has layed the
foundation of conductive education over fourty years ago in Hungary and has
been used very successfully ever since. Movement, speech and mental ability
are simultaniously developed in order to enable the disabled child to
eventually become as independent as possible and thereby be an active member
of society. Adults, who become disabled due to accidents, or various
diseases contacted later on in life, such as Parkinsons disease, multiple
sclerosis, etc. can also greatly benefit from conductive education. It has
been proven that great progress can be made with these adults, who otherwise
have very little chance of at least partial recovery from these injuries or
diseases.
>>Our institute is working with children from the age of 0-14 who suffer
from various motor disabilities due to damage of the central nervous system,
using all the means of conductive education, including speech therapy,
swimming, theraputic massage, horseback riding, etc. We have an excellent
child psychilogist, when needed, a pediatrician and a nurse on call at all
times.
>>As an addition to our services we also offer BLISS, which is a relatively
new method of communication.
>>We believe that long term treatment is the most beneficial and productive
for the children, consequently we offer treatment for 1 or more years, but
of course we offer short term treatments as well.
>>Naturally we can help families find suitable and reasonably priced
accomodations here in Budapest and also we are on call 24 hours a day for
emergencies that may arise. 
>>Children are transported to and from the institute daily, thereby making
the parents' life a little easier.
>>Children or adults who have never had conductive education before, will be
assessed here and their treatment will be carried out accordingly.
