The Display in the Shop at the Los Angeles Bureau of Street Lighting

This is a display on two walls of the Los Angeles Bureau of Street Lighting Building on Santa Monica Boulevard near Hollywood. This display and the tour of the whole facility is something not to be missed. The folks at the bureau are glad to take visitors on the tour and impart whatever knowledge they have. I recommend calling ahead, and not going in the afternoon on Friday (I learned this the hard way : )

My photos don't do this display justice. There are dozens of luminaires of many types on these walls; many of them correctly identified. It is truly a sight to behold. DEFINITELY CHECK IT OUT!!!
