- Instructor.
Taught Business Communications 301 to juniors and seniors in the Marketing and International Business department. Incorporated technology in the classroom through a course Web page. Worked with ESL students to modify course to enhance learning.
- Microsoft (contractor through Write Stuff, 1997-2001)
- Technical Writer III. Wrote technical documentation for network administrators, including chapters for the Microsoft Windows .NET Resource Kit, the Microsoft Windows 2000 Resource Kit, and the Microsoft Windows 98 Resource Kit. Also designed an enterprise-scale Domain Name System (DNS) infrastructure to be used as a guide for network designers and administrators deploying Windows 2000 DNS, implemented the infrastructure in a real network environment, and used the results to document scenarios on the Web.

- Technical Writer and Editor. Wrote, edited, and indexed technical
publications for an audience of network supervisors. Publications included the magazine
NetWare Connection, the Novell Buyer's Guide, and the end user manual
Novell Services Encyclopedia Professional Volume (NSEPro). Also served as the
acquisitions editor for the magazine Network News.
