Professional Accomplishments
- Planned and chose all music weekly for contemporary liturgical service, including congregational song, psalm settings, musical offerings and preludes/postludes.
- Arranged numerous hymn arrangements for brass and other instruments and acted as primary organist for festival services, including Christmas, Easter and other special occasions. Rehearsal accompanist for festival choir.
- Introduced Marty Haugen's liturgical setting Now the Feast and Celebration, Haugen's Creation Setting (derived from Mass of Creation), David Haas' Mass of Light and Bob Hurd's Mass of Glory.
- Organized and assembled vocal/instrumental ensemble consisting of all volunteers, including 5-7 vocalists, 2-3 guitars, electric bass, piano and drums for leading congregational song. Trained four drummers from within the congregation.
- Introduced extensive amount of new congregational repertoire, primarily from GIA's Gather II book and from OCP's Lord Be Glorified.
- Assisted in seasonal worship planning for traditional services and for festival services in coordination with pastoral staff and Director of Music Ministries.
- Produced and directed 1999 Christmas cantata combining volunteer and paid musicians with festival choir.
- Organist and assisted in planning for 2000 installation service of Bishop Kevin Kanouse.
- Organized and directed music for 2003 Northern Texas / Northern Louisiana Theological Conference held in Fort Worth, Texas.
- Assisted in planning, implementation, arranging and directing the instrumental ensembles for Northern Texas / Northern Louisiana 2003 and 2005 Synod Assemblies. Acted as organist and pianist for major worship events.
- Regular substitute in 2004 / 2005 for Atlanta area churches, including Methodist, Presbyterian, Episcopal, Lutheran and Roman Catholic congregations.
- Member of 2005 Northern Texas / Northern Louisiana Synod Assembly worship planning team. Acted as organist and primary keyboard musician at major worship events.
- Organist for weekly eucharist and evensong services for Episcopal students at Candler School of Theology, including rehearsal for teaching of psalms and hymns.
- Produced and directed the Northern Texas / Northern Louisiana 2006 Synod Assembly worship. Acted as organist and primary keyboard musician at major worship events.
