One of the wackiest TV comedy series to hit Seattle, The Spud Goodman Show is a spoof on talk shows. Spud, the host, insults every guest who comes on the show, including me as Charles Vincent, advocate for AAPT, "Attorneys Are People Too." Spud's regulars include his mother (played by Judith Kay), his psychiatrist (who is a 6-year-old girl), a man who believes his Howdy Doody dummy is a real person, a biker, Accordion Joe who thinks he's an Elvis look-alike, and so on.
The show ran on local Seattle cable, KTZZ (channel 10), and is now available on the Fox network in several cities (but, alas, no longer in Seattle!).
In this episode I'm finally ushered out by the biker after threatening to sue Spud for "libelizing" lawyers with his usual put-down language.
I'm not waiting for an Emmy on this one.
