Easier Said

An independent feature film of 23 frames to be released in December, 1998, Easier Said is a romantic comedy about a young man's decision to restart his life back in his roots in Colorado. Jack Buck, fed up with the ease with which mediocre writers can amass millions, quits his publishing job in New York, breaks up with his high-maintenance fiancée, and heads West to take over his uncle's lodge and café in order to have the peace and time to write the great American novel. Everything goes haywire when he runs afoul of the local mountain folks...including me, the local sheriff.

The movie is directed and produced by Todd von Mende, formerly with Walt Disney Studios, and beautifully filmed by Jason Lowe. The sound track features the renowned rock group, The Samples.
