Looking for any leads on Oakboro residents, SMITH: CLARK:
BURRIS/BURROWS/BURROUGHS from circa 1800
Any info on Wash Smith?
I think he was the father of Joseph Smith, who was the father of James
Alexander, the father of Ephriam.

N. Mitchell Clark his daughter Sarah Ann Clark was at one time married
to Zeb Hunycutt, however her son, William Buxton Clark's parentage is
needed.
Looking for James David M. Hu/Honeycutt, married Eda Rowland or
Underwood. Their children: Sara E. (1848), Roena J.(1854), Joel
(Joseph) M. (1856), Mary C. (60), Martha (63), Thomas M. (69), and
Nancy L. (72). They are listed in the 1850 census as living in
Stanly Co., N. C. and listed as living on lot 538. Alexander and
Sarah Honeycutt were listed as living on lot 536, and both he and
James David are about the same age, and possible brothers. Lot
535, has Mark Honeycutt age 50 living there, with Levi K. and Mary
Honeycutt living on lot 540 and being of ages 55 and 50 respectfully.
James David could be the son of either Mark or Levi K, because
they are both in their 50's, and living within 2 households of
each other. It is also possible that George Honeycutt Sr. is his
father and living at lot 542, as well as Lewis living at lot 544.
Anyone with info about these families and their ancesters or decendents,
and willing to share, would certainly like to be heard from regarding
said information. Thanks! See Ya!

brother. There are a number of other possibilities with regards
to MARK HUNEYCUTT living at Lot 542 and GEORGE HUNNICUTT SR.
living at Lot 544, as well as LEWIS HUNEYCUTT living at Lot 535,
as being his father as well, when considering their age.
