Uselding is a surname most often found in Luxembourg. I am researching the descendants of George Uselding (1781-1867) and Eva Has (1793-1840) of Erpeldange, Diekirch, Luxembourg. They had thirteen known children; seven sons and one daughter survived infancy. Over the course of a twenty year period (1846-1867), their daughter and six of their sons immigrated to the United States and settled in the Midwestern states of Illinois and Wisconsin, and later South Dakota.
